I'm a Ph.D. student in Industrial Engineering at the University of Houston.  My current research is focused on policy-making of optimal power system planning microgrids in collaboration with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.​

Developing two-stage stochastic integer programming using benders decomposition algorithm for power system planning and operation to optimize reliability, costs, and emission of the system. Providing price and incentive signals using LMP and SMP. Integrating microgrid planning with generation and transmission planning to study the advantage of grid-connected microgrid including renewable resources (wind and solar energy) in the energy market.
